Purpose & permissions

A focused connection to Google Drive.

What is backed up

Selected assistant settings, curated memory, project notes, skills and conversation databases. Recovery material may contain private information, so it is encrypted before transfer.

Why Drive access is needed

The backup utility creates and reads encrypted backup files, verifies restores and removes older snapshots under its retention policy. It requests the drive.file permission.

What access is limited to

The application requests access to files it creates or that the account explicitly grants to it. It does not request access to Gmail, Google Photos or Contacts.

Authorization belongs to the account owner.
Google sign-in takes place through a separately initiated setup flow. This website does not collect Google passwords, OAuth tokens, backup files or recovery passwords.
